The hockey team worked with Duo, which is a non-profit organization specializing in training service doggo. The dog that they adopted is a yellow Labrador Retriever and for the next year and a half, the hockey team will be teaching the puppy basic obedience training as well as social and environmental simulations.
After the training with the hockey team and Duo, the non-profit organization will find where to take the service doggo. The dog, which has not been named yet, will be formally introduced to the public on the game of St. Louis Blues versus San Jose this November 9.
