– A dog had to be put down.
– This was after the dog suffered from severe injuries after being taken to a groomer.

The dog was a 14-year-old Yorkshire terrier named Lacey. The dog owner’s husband took the dog to a groomer’s home due to the pandemic. More than an hour later, when the groomer handed the doggo back, it was already yelping and had a spot on her head. The groomer said that the dog was “scratching really bad and started flipping around in the cage as soon as” the husband left.
The groomer also suggested that the dog was already in bad condition when it was taken to her. She also said the dog might have suffered from a seizure but the dog owner said the dog never had such an episode in the past. The groomer later told the dog owner that the dog should not be taken to a vet because it might be put down. The dog owner then wondered why would the groomer say that and took the dog to a vet. It turned out that the dog was having an internal bleeding on its brain and suffered from several broken ribs.
It is believed the groomer held the dog down on the grooming table with all of her body weight. The groomer has since been charged with cruelty to a companion animal.
