A total of 361 Golden Retrievers have gathered at a Scottish village in order to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the lovable dog breed. The event marked the 150th year ever since a litter of the dog breed was born in Scotland.

The first Golden Retrievers were born in the county in 1868 and the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland believes the best way to celebrate 15 decades was to gather as many dogs of the said breed in one area. Ten years ago, there were only 188 Golden Retrievers that attended the event. In 2016, 222 gathered for the anniversary.
A show and a formal diner was also held by the dog owners and the dog lovers to mark the special anniversary.
