According to reports, the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center have decided to waive their adoption fees. This would be a limited offer for the July Fourth celebrations. Now, a dog can be adopted for as low as $18. The reason behind the offer is that they have already reached their maximum capacity as they are currently taking care of more than 260 dogs that they really want to have some of the adopted.
Also, they are concerned that during and after the Fourth of July celebrations, more dogs will end up at their shelter.
