In Honolulu, a family had to make a difficult decision – they had to give their doggo away. The dog is a pit bull named Zoe, who is black and white and is one-eyed.
– A family had to give up their doggo more than a decade ago.
– Later, they got a call about the dog.
– Now, they are the owners of the dog again after…
According to the dog owners, they had to move somewhere else back in 2009 but there were no affordable places that would accept them with their dog. The family had to re-home Zoe and the new family who had the doggo never kept in touch. One of the members of the family said, “Over the years, we’ve always talked about her and we’ve always wondered what happened to her.”
The family then got a call from Humane Society and they were told their information remained registered to the microchip of Zoe. The former dog owners tried to look for the current owners of Zoe and posted it on social media. They got answers from their post saying that the dog was re-homed many times for the last 12 years.
The new landlord of the original owners of Zoe decided to allow them to keep Zoe. The original owners said they would now give all the love she deserves.
