Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia just welcomed the first ever doggo that will be working as their facility dog. The dog is a two-year-old Labrador named Dilly.

His main job is to ease the anxiety that young patients will most definitely feel. He will also reduce the stress felt by not only the patients but also by their families. Dilly will likewise teach children on how to take pills, keep them calm whenever they will undergo medical procedures, and many more. Since the dog has been working at the hospital, many young patients have already expressed how thankful they are for Dilly. Some said their days became better because of him while others said they love the dog so much.
Dilly was funded by different donations from different organizations. He was trained by Susquehanna Service Dogs.
