The doggo was the first known doggo to have acquired the human coronavirus. The dog was reportedly recovering well from the disease but news broke that the 17-year-old Pomeranian passed away earlier this week. The dog returned home to its owner and days later, it died. The dog owner, on the other hand, is a 60-year-old woman who has already recovered from coronavirus.
The cause of the death of the dog remains unclear because the dog owner did not allow the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) to conduct an autopsy on the animal.
