An Olympic figure skater from Canada decided to help in her own way to save a dog that would have been eaten eventually.
Last year, she was in Pyeonchang for a test run for this year’s Olympics and that was when she adopted the dog. The dog was taken to Montreal.
Per statistics, 2 million dogs each year are raised in Korean dog meat farms. The figure skater hopes all athletes to do the same thing she did in an attempt to save more dogs’ lives.
