– A dog from Wisconsin went missing almost two years ago.
– The dog was recently featured on a news segment.
– Because of that, the former owner recognized the dog and it led to their reunion.
According to the Wisconsin Humane Society, a man named Dwight was woken up by the news segment “Adopt-A-Pet” on FOX6 News in Milwaukee. During the segment, a brown dog was featured and they said it had an underbite. Dwight then said that it took him just one glance to recognize it was their missing doggo named Payday. The Wisconsin Humane Society added in their post that Dwight usually turns off his TV at night, but during the time he woke up to the news segment, he forgot to turn it off. If it weren’t for forgetting to turn the TV off, he would not have seen the news and their doggo being featured in it.
Dwight immediately contacted the news station and they were the ones who connected the man to the humane society. Later, during the reunion, the humane society took a video of it and posted it on their Facebook page. It showed Dwight’s mother and the doggo happily seeing each other.
