A doggo is finally back home after being on the run for two months. The dog was out for a walk with its owner on April 15 when she slipped out of her collar and ran away.

Accordingly, they were at Long Beach when the doggo was scared by a hang-glider. Many bystanders tried to grab the doggo, identified as Minnie, but they were unsuccessful. For the next weeks, many spotted the beagle-German Shepherd mix but always evaded capture.
Teddy Henn, who works with Long Island Dog Search and Rescue, shared that they usually placed bowls that Minnie used before and placed it inside traps but she was so skittish it was difficult to catch her. The dog is actually a rescue dog and was just adopted six months ago.
Later, the roommate of the dog owner was called to the area where the dog was spotted. She talked to the dog for around 30 minutes until she finally grabbed the doggo. After 59 days, the doggo is home.
