A family visited a rescue center and they thought everything was going well. The family, however, ended up at a hospital.
– A family went to visit a rescue center in Edmonton, Canada.
– The family was at the adoption floor when a large dog suddenly attacked one of the children in the family.
– The girl was taken to the hospital and the dog was placed in quarantine.
The family went to the Edmonton Humane Society because a niece wanted to pet kittens for her birthday. The family’s nine-year-old daughter was bitten by one of the dogs in the center so they immediately took her to the hospital.
The father of the family said that the dog that bit his daughter was initially friendly. However, when the dog saw the child, it became aggressive.
The girl received stitches after the attack. The Edmonton Humane Society is now investigating the incident. The dog reportedly has behavioral issues and is in a 10-day quarantine after the biting.
