In La Crosse, Wisconsin, a doggo is now a facility dog at the Mayo Clinic Health System. Many donations have been given to the facility dog program because they hope that more facility dogs will join the recent doggo at the said clinic.

The dog is named Luna and she connects with around 20 patients in a day at the clinic. The dog is there to provide comfort for the patients but she was also trained for special skills like helping in therapy. There are also around 40 commands that the doggo knows.
According to the Supervisor of Rehab Services at the clinic, Lisa Morgan, the donations helped them significantly because the money is given to K9 companions that will soon be part of the facility dog program. More doggos will be trained and will graduate annually and the program will expand soon.
