A couple of veterinarians collated the things that humans do that actually cause unintentional stress to their fur babies. These things are very normal things to humans but apparently they cause panic, fear, and anxiety to animals.
– There are a lot of things that humans do, which causes unnecessary stress to doggos.
– First is putting on sunglasses and hats.
– Another is moving furniture around.
First on the list is wearing sunglasses and hats. Accordingly, this makes a doggo feel uneasy because doggos cannot see a good view of your face. Doggos rely so much on a person’s eye so without seeing these, the doggo feels uncertain. A good way to avoid this is to assure your doggo everything is alright every time you wear a hat and sunglasses.
Moving your furniture also causes confusion to your doggo. Accordingly, dogs rely on their noses to go about your home. If you move things around, there is a good chance they will feel lost and confused. You can still move the furniture around but you should do it one at a time.
Another is staring at them for too long or hugging them too tightly makes them feel stressed out. Doggos do not like to be watched because they feel like they did something wrong. As for hugging, they do love cuddles but they do not like to be held tightly.
