The government of England confirmed it has plans on total ban of the selling and utilization of shock collars. The use of shock collars have been a constant campaign by animal rights organizations in the country.
Shock collars can spray noxious sprays, emit a sound painful to an animal’s hearing or give a small electric shock. This shock collars are usually used to control a misbehaving pet during skills training.
These devices are now banned in Wales. Scotland has already announced that the law to ban these devices is almost passed. The law banning shock collars will also cover other animal policies to install surveillance cameras in slaughterhouses to help prevent and catch dog farmers.
