According to the dog owner, they were traveling down Interstate 85 near the exit 126 when the car she was driving swerved. The vehicle spun for a couple of times before they finally hit a barrier wall. The airbags were ejected and the dog owner said she started to smell smoke. She then opened the door of her vehicle and that’s when the dog, named Bear, ran away. The dog is 10 months old and has been the support dog of the dog owner as she suffers from depression and anxiety.

The dog owner is now working with Tailz Rescue. They believe the dog is in the woods trying to keep himself warm that is why it is difficult to look for him. They are asking for more volunteers to cover more ground.
