Summer is the best time for surfing and it’s not only for humans. In California, a rescue center is offering to teach doggos how to surf so that they can compete in the annual Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon by Helen Woodward Animal Center.

– The are now accepting doggos to train in preparation for the event.
The rescue center is based in Rancho Santa Fe, California and the expert surfers announced that Dog Surf Lessons will start on Sunday. The experts will provide training for four days in a week until the competition on September.
The money from the Surf Dog Lessons will be given to the animal center for them to use for their orphan pet programs. This is the 14th year that the annual Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon and it always takes place at the Del Mar Dog Beach.
