In Hamilton, Montana, the Bitter Root Humane Society is asking people to help them with the doggos they are taking care of. The humane society wants people to foster the doggos during the annual holiday.
– Volunteers are being called by the Bitter Root Humane Society.
– They hope people will foster their doggos.
– They also want to increase the chances of their dogs getting adopted by the fostering program.
The Operations Manager of Bitter Root Humane Society said in a statement that they want to offer dogs for foster care so that they can increase the chances of the dogs getting adopted. Through fostering, the shelter can educate people about adopting the doggos.
The other goal is to let the dogs relax outside the kennels. Usually, shelters are stressful because of the noise and the commotion. The operations manager added, “The shelter is a really stressful place for the animals and so we’re really trying to look for a place where the animals can go, even if it is just for a short fostering.”
Those who will offer to foster the dogs should know that taking care of the dogs even just for a day is a huge responsibility so they want people who can help them achieve their goal to volunteer.
