A lot of dogs do not like to take their medicines and this is a challenge that most dog owners face. Here are some tips to trick your dogs into taking their medicines.
– Dogs sometimes do not like taking their medications.
– One way to let them eat it is by using pill pockets.
– You may also stuff the pill inside cheese slices, hot dogs, bananas, and many more.
The first tip is that instead of getting the regular pills, you can get pill pockets. They have a Play-Doh-like texture so you can place it inside treats and your dog will surely eat it immediately. Next is you could place it in cheese slices but be sure that the medication can be taken in with dairy. Hot dogs are also great alternatives. You can cut the hotdog and place the pill in one please. Be sure to feed your dog this order: a piece with no pill, a piece with the pill, and another piece without any pill.
Dog owners can also place the pill in bananas, pumpkin puree, or wet dog food.
