Doggos from shelters in Louisiana were transported to San Diego. The transfer comes before Hurricane Delta is expected to hit the area hard.

The doggos were flown to San Diego, California through Wings of Rescue. A total of 103 doggos were transported. This is not the first time this happened. This is actually the second time because of the dangers that the hurricane poses to the animals. The dogs will be distributed to Chula Vista Animal Care Facility, the Department of Animal Services, Labradors and Friends, Rancho Coastal Humane Society and San Diego Humane Society. They will be up for adoption soon.
Also, the transportation was made so that they can make space for the other animals expected to be found after the hurricane.
