– Doggos from China’s meat market were taken to New York City over the weekend.
– They were rescued by an organization called No Dogs Left Behind.
– Another set of doggos will be flying in From Beijing on Friday.
A total of 45 doggos arrived at the JFK Airport on Saturday. They came from Beijing and were transported through Air China. Most of the doggos were already adopted out even before they came to the United States. Some of the adopters welcomed the doggos over the weekend. Accordingly, some of these people had to wait for a year before they met their new doggos.
The organization that made this possible is No Dogs Left Behind. They operate a shelter in Beijing specifically to help doggos from the meat markets of China.
A third batch of rescued doggos will be taken to the United States by Friday.
