A new app has been developed to increase the chances of doggos being adopted. The app is called MyHooman and it will function like the dating app Tinder.
– A new app called MyHooman hopes to increase the number of adoption of doggos.
– It will also contain different profiles of adoptable doggos from different shelters and organizations.
– All the necessary information will be up on the app and…
Accordingly, the app will match potential adopters and doggos that are available for adoption in their area. This way, different rescue organizations can expose their doggos that need fur-ever homes in just one platform.
The app also has artificial intelligence and smart matching by ensuring that the dog will match the family where it will go to. Basically, photos and the characteristics of the doggo are placed on MyHooman so the potential adopter is fully aware. One of the managers of the shelters that use MyHooman shared, “Often people might walk into a shelter and fall in love with a particular, only to realise later that that dog isn’t well suited to their lifestyle. We’re hoping that by sharing more information earlier on, we can get better matches when marrying up dogs with owners.”
Although people can swipe on dogs they think would be a good match for them, they still have to visit the shelter or organization where the doggo is. The organization will further determine if the humans indeed suits the doggos’ needs.
