– A man is the leader of a dog fighting gang.
– He was convicted recently.
– His dog died after it was forced to fight a larger dog for 45 minutes.
The dog fighting gang leader, John Knibbs, was convicted of keeping and training dogs for fighting. Accordingly, during the fight of the two dogs, the gang leader’s dog suffered from severe puncture wounds because it fought a much larger dog. The dog’s body was never found but the inspector for the case said that the pictures and text messages regarding the fight revealed the dog had puncture wounds in its head.
Knibbs also tried to breed the ultimate fighting dog by trying to find the largest and most aggressive doggos then mating them. This was not the first time Knibbs was prosecuted for dog fighting because the first instance was in 2009.
Eight more dogs were found in the area where Knibbs had his dog fighting events.
