Halloween is all about festivities and a lot of dog owners want to get their dogs involved. However, experts have released a list of do’s and don’ts in order to help dog owners decide whether or not what they are doing to their dogs is still okay.
– Halloween is not always a fun time for dogs.
– If your dog hates noise and is anxious around other people, just stay at home.
– Do not feed your dog any candy.
If your dog is a bit anxious and does not like crowded and noisy places, you should not bring your dog while you are trick-or-treating or do not encourage children to go to your house. It’s really best to stay at home on the night of Halloween and not let children constantly ring your bell because it could be confusing and disrupting to your doggo. In line with this, never feed your dog any candy.
As for costumes, you should be careful in choosing your dog’s costume. Be sure not to let them wear costumes that restricts movement. Also, do not attempt to dye your dog’s fur because even if it is organic, your dog might still suffer from an allergic reaction.
