Coors Light, a company that sells beer, wants people to adopt a dog just in time for Valentine’s Day. They have offered to give adopters $100.
– A beer company will pay people to adopt a dog.
– The promotion by Coors Light will run from February 4 to 21.
– They wanted people to adopt dogs because…
According to Coors Light, they will be giving $100 to the first 1,000 people to adopt a dog between February 4 and 21. However, there are rules that need to be followed. People who will adopt have to be of legal drinking age in the states that Coors Light will be implementing their promo. The participants must text COORS4k9 and a photo of the adoption receipt to 28130 in order to receive the money. The money will basically be used to refund the adoption fee payments by the participants.
In a statement by Chelsea Parker, marketing manager at Molson Coors, they came up with the promo because younger people usually drink more during the Cuffing Season. Parker added, “With almost half of millennials planning to stay in on Valentine’s Day, we wanted to help empower people to savor the day with Coors Light and a dog by their side.”
