One of President-elect Joe Biden’s doggos is the first rescue doggos to live in the White House. This is also a first in four years since doggos lived in the White House since Donald Trump did not have dogs with him during his presidency.
– President-elect Joe Biden has two dogs.
– One of them is a rescue dog.
– This is the first time that a rescue dog will be living in the White House.
The two doggos of Biden, Major and Champ, actually frequented the White House before when the president-elect was the former United States Vice President during Barack Obama’s presidency. The two doggos, both German Shepherds, are expected to move into their new home by January.
More on the dogs, Champ was actually a gift from Biden to his wife Jill in 2008. Major, on the other hand, was adopted by Biden after his daughter, Ashley, sent him a photo of the poor animal. Accordingly, the dog was one of those adoptable from the Delaware Humane Association. Major is the first ever rescue dog to live in the White House.
People are aware of the two doggos of the Bidens. They frequently post updates about them on social media.
