Dogs rescued from getting eaten? How did the rescue action work out? Are the dogs safe now? South Korea is known to have dogs bred in order to have them slaughtered for dog meat that goes into making of delicious cuisines served in the five star restaurants.
A first-of-its-kind dog rescue has 23 dogs that were bred solely for their meat in South Korea saved and imported to the United States to get a new life.
These dogs were destined to end up in the dinner table of a posh restaurant but fortunately they were saved by the Washington-based Humane Society International (HSI) who sent them to the US to be adopted soon.
