The study was led by William J. Chopik of Michigan State University. The social psychologist said that they studies 1, 681 doggos and evaluated the owner’s and the dog’s personalities. Chopik said that the similarities in the characteristics and behavior may be attributed to what dog owners become because of them. Another reason is when dog owners first got their dog, they chose a dog that matches their personality.
