The doggo, 14-year-old Jack, a Parson Russell Terrier, was diagnosed with cancer last October 1. Earlier this week, Wilmington Police Department granted the “K-9 officer for a day” wish. The dog even got to wear a real K-9 Unit uniform and was photographed riding the patrol car.
Aside from being a K-9 officer, the family of the doggo also hopes to take their senior dog to the beach, have picnic at the park, and munch on a full course steak dinner. After the dog crosses the rainbow, his humans will start a foundation that will provide great and happy moments for doggos and their owners who are in the same situation as they are.
