Summary:
– A dog was stolen two days before Christmas.
– The dog was returned recently to its owner.
– It is unclear where the dog has been but a woman found the dog…
According to reports, the dog is now back home with 77-year-old Alan Chamberlain from West Midlands. The dog, a King Charles Spaniel named Penny, was the only companion he had after his wife died in April.
The doggo got stolen after it got out of the house while Chamberlain went out to deliver Christmas cards. Per the CCTV videos of the neighbors, Penny was found by people in a grey car. Later, a man in a red Volkswagen said that Penny was his so they gave it to him. The dog has not been since that incident. He then appealed for the return of the doggo and even asked the thief directly to show mercy.
Just this Monday, Penny was returned home. It is unclear where the dog has been. The dog was spotted by one Stacey Bushell out in the road while it was raining.
In a Facebook post by the dog owner, he shared, “I am crying again now but these are now tears of happiness as I have been reunited with my little companion. All my prayers and yours have been answered.”
