The dog was abandoned at a corner of an intersection. The dog was found at around 1 A.M. on Monday and someone living outside the area found the animal. The person then took the initiative to turn over the dog to the animal control in Randolph.
Accordingly, aside from being abandoned, the dog was also abused. After being checked by the vet, they determined that the dog had to undergo major surgery. There are no details as to the medical condition of the dog.
More on looking for the dog owner, the Norfolk Police said in a statement, “Totally unacceptable to leave your dog in a crate, in the dark, alone.” Police are now asking people to come forward if they know who the owner is. They are encouraged to call the police at 781-963-1212 or the animal control at 508-528-3232, option 7.
