The postal worker called for help and volunteers from Stay Rescue went to get the dog. The dog’s body temperature was so low that the thermometer could no longer register it. The dog was in a coma but with the care she got, the dog is now feeling better.
Temperatures continue to drop in many parts of the world and vets are warning dog and other pet owners to keep an eye on their furry friends so incidents like this won’t happen again. It is unclear if the dog owner has been contacted by Stay Rescue.
Vets also warn about ice melt. Sometimes, if dogs ingest it, they could get sick.
