A father and a son were on a plane with their doggo. The small plane later crashed onto a tree and fortunately, the trio were able to escape from the plane unscathed.

The incident took place on Saturday morning. The plane crashed near the Destin Executive Airport. According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, when the plane was coming in for a landing, it experienced engine trouble. It is also fortunate that the plane missed a house before it crashed into a tree.
The people inside the plane were identified as 47-year-old Jason Dougherty and 22-year-old Caleb Dougherty. The dog was not named but is said to be a Labrador retriever. They all came from Kansas and flew to Florida for a vacation.
The small plane was identified as the Beech Bonanza, a single-engine model plane, and a six-seater.
