The owner of Alma Dog Sitting company is looking for a doggo that could be turned into a therapy dog. Eventually, the dog will be working alongside elders at a living center.
– A perfect dog is being searched by a dog-related company owner.
– Such dog will be trained to be a therapy dog.
– The dog will soon serve residents at…
The owner of the company, Alex Godinez, shared that he looks after dogs but he also trains them. The dog that he will successfully train to be a therapy dog will be taken to Warwick Living Center in Michigan. Godinez said that he is looking for the perfect dog because it’s difficult to find a doggo that has the perfect qualities. The dog must be mellow, friendly, obedient, gentle, and not traumatized, which is rare to find at shelters.
He also said that the perfect dog must be of an average size because small and large dogs don’t do well being therapy dogs. The ideal age is three to five years old. Godinez was able to train one dog and is now a therapy dog at Masonic Pathways.
