The dog owners, Andrew Curran and Jordan Reynaud, lost their dog, and English Springer Spaniel named Angus, earlier this month. The dog was out for a walk with the father of Reynaud. Curran and Reynaud were actually just visiting the area for the birthday of Reynaud’s father. They held on to the belief that their dog was still alive so they did not stop searching for it. However, just recently, they saw the doggo’s body in a nearby river.
Many people came out to help the couple find their doggo. It is believed that the dog was stuck somewhere so the searchers were not able to find it for days. Curran said in a statement that they are very heartbroken over the death of Angus but they are overwhelmed by the support.
Donations also came pouring in. Curran said that they would donate the money to Drone SAR for Lost Dogs and the Lochaber Mountain Rescue.
