In Canton, Ohio, a doggo was saved from a burning home by a number of firefighters. The dog owner is indebted to the rescuers because they did all they could to save the doggo.

The fire took place last Tuesday morning and a neighbor told the firefighters that a woman and a dog may still be inside the burning home. The large dog was overcome by smoke when firefighters found him inside the house. The dog was able to get out but he was breathing extremely fast. The firefighters then took an oxygen mask to try and resuscitate the doggo. After 30 seconds or so, the dog was able to stand on her own again.
The dog owner was at the doctor’s office at the time of the fire. She revealed that she has had the doggo with her for 14 years now. The doggo is still having some trouble breathing now but is expected to recover soon.
The reason for the fire remains unclear.
