In Durango, Colorado, a doggo was expected to die if the surgery to save its life would not be performed. The dog had an arrow lodged in its skull and thanks to all the donations, the doggo was given a second chance at life.

The surgery cost around $5,000 and after asking people to donate, they were able to come up with more than enough the initial amount. The dog underwent surgery at the La Plata Humane Society. A photo of the dog with the arrow sticking out of its face made its way online and this was what compelled most of the donors to donate whatever they can give.
The extra money will be used for the recovery of the doggo as well as for other dogs that might need surgery in the future. The dog is still with the humane society and will soon be in foster care before being adopted out.
