A community decided to rescue a puppy that was stranded and could possibly freeze to death 100 feet down an embankment. The woman who saw the dog is identified as Brittany Meyer from Montana and she took to Facebook to get some help for the dog.

The dog was stranded on an island in the Flathead River and Meyer called animal control then posted n Facebook. When animal control came, they saw it was already too dark so they had to get back to the dog in the morning. The post then received more than 300 shares because Meyer really wanted to save the dog. One Jake Kirby and Tony Dewindt decided to meet Meyer along the river and the pair used a rock climbing equipment to get to the dog. Not long after, they spotted the weak, little dog, who had injuries.
The dog was later taken to The Animal Clinic n Kalispell. Donations came pouring in for the dog named Valor. One of the men who went to rescue the dog hopes to adopt Valor. He already has two doggos.
Valor already underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
