In Florence, Alabama, doggo has been surrendered at the Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services. Now, the dog hopes he can be adopted even if he has special needs.
– A dog with special needs was surrendered by its owner.
– The dog cannot walk and uses a wheelchair.
– The dog hopes to be adopted out.
The dog named Zeus is just a year old and he was hit by a car back in August. The original dog owner asked for help from the organization and when the dog was checked, it was found out that the dog had an injury in the back so the dog is not able to walk.
The dog was supposed to be euthanized but the owner refused. The dog owner then asked help from Joey’s P.A.W., an organization that provides free wheelchairs for doggos that need them. Everything was going well until the dog owner began experiencing health problems. The dog owner had no choice but to surrender the doggo.
Now, the organization hopes to have Zeus adopted out. They need someone with patience and a lot of love to give to Zeus.
