The scientists from University of York claimed that humans talked to dogs twice – once, using a high-pitched voice, which is the dog-speak tone, and twice, using their normal voice.
The researchers found out that dog-speak actually helped in making the bond stronger by using dog-directed speech and dog-related content. Asking the dog who is a good boy or asking it if it wants to go for a walk also helped in strengthening the bond.
