In Nassau County, Florida, a dog was shot in the face. The dog is now under the care of Nassau County Animal Services and they hope someone would finally take the doggo home.

It remains unknown to this day who did the horrific thing to the poor dog. The dog was named Banjo Boy and the rescuers initially did not know the dog had a bullet lodged in its face until it was taken to a vet. The officer who found the dog shared, “I love just being their voice. They can’t talk. I need us to be able to talk for them and make sure that they’re treated right.” The officer is also investigating the shooting incident in hopes of finding any lead as to who shot the dog.
The dog will have a head tilt for the rest of his life because of the shooting. The dog is said to be very sweet and loves people so anyone looking to adopt a sweet dog should give this fur baby a chance.
