A doggo spent a total of 842 days at a shelter in Ashtabula, Ohio. Recently, the dog finally got adopted.
– A dog has been at a shelter for 842 days.
– The dog loves doing a lot of activities.
– Later, a woman came to the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League and took the doggo home.
The dog is a three-year-old pit bull mix named Mia. She spent most of her life at the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League until over the weekend when a woman decided to give Mia a second shot at life.
Initially, the shelter posted a photo of the doggo and said that they are looking for an owner who is “fun, outgoing, and looking for some fur to add to your home.” The dog was described as one to have a silly personality and is picky with canine friends. She also loves walks and runs. She does not fit well with a home that is crowded so if the adopters had children, they should already be young adults.
Later, the shelter posted on their Facebook page that Mia just got adopted as well as another long-term resident. According to the shelter, Mia “was so happy to head home with her new mom.” Details about the new dog owner were not revealed.
