Over the weekend, the Riverside Park Dog Owner Group in Manhattan raised their first ever D.O.G. Fest. The event was launched to raise money for their local park.
– First ever D.O.G. Fest in Manhattan took place on November 3.
– The proceeds from the event will be used for the dog run.
– The dog run will be at a local park.
During the event there were a lot of activities like an agility training, nosework, puppy parkour, a dog yoga, and numerous games that doggos surely enjoyed. The event was free but there were competitions and classes that required some fees. The proceeds will be used for the dog run at a local park.
One dog owner who attended the event shared that having a dog is actually really great because it “teaches you to be more humane and a better person because humane and a better person” because doggos “really connect you to the community you live in.”
D.O.G. Fest will once again take place on November 17 at the 74th Street track on the river level inside Riverside Park from 10 A.M. until 4 P.M.
