A dog owner from Fujian city of Quanzhou, China accidentally videoed her own doggo drowning. The dog was swimming at a small pool at a pet shop where owners can bring their pets for a swim.
– A dog owner thought her dog was only paddling.
– The truth was, the dog was already drowning.
– The dog was taken to a pet store where it could swim in a small pool.
Per the surveillance video, a worker at the pet shop was seen placing the doggo, a French bulldog, into the pool then going away. The dog then starts to splash around in the water and looked like it was panicking. The dog owner then took out her phone and started videoing because she thought her dog was just paddling. The worker at the pet shop did nothing until the dog sank to the bottom. The worker reacted only 15 seconds after and used a pipe to get the dog out of the water. By that time, the dog no longer moved.
The dog was taken to a vet but the vet could not do anything more. The pet store took full responsibility over the incident and will settle with the dog owner.
