– A dog owner lost his doggo.
– A Lyft driver allegedly took it.
– This January, the dog owner got a call from…
The incident took place in Saint Petersburg, Florida and the missing dog is owned by one Jason Gell. His nine-month-old dog went missing in November of last year. He let his dog out to their backyard but the dog never came back inside. Hours later, the dog owner saw through a security camera that his dog jumped inside a car at around 1:15 A.M. Last January 21, the dog owner’s mother got a call from a woman claiming to have found the dog. The dog owner then flew to Seffner for their reunion. By January 23, that dog believed to be the missing doggo was back home with Gell. However, the dog was later identified as another dog and the real dog owners reached out to Gell.
Gell talked to the other dog owner and they reached an agreement that he can keep the dog for $400. Despite having a new dog, Gell still hopes to find his former doggo.
