The dog was able to bark and people started to notice. The people who went to try and help the doggo then called the cops. The dog was anxious and did not have a blanket, food, or water. When officers came, they used a tool to open the car’s dog and waited for over an hour hoping that the dog owner would come around. The officers eventually took the dog to the police headquarters where it was given some food.
Eventually, the dog owner went to the police to claim the doggo. He said that he left the windows cracked, which only made it worse because the temperatures were freezing that day. The dog owner was not charged with animal cruelty but was cited.
