– A dog was inside a parked vehicle.
– The dog was stolen.
– The thief contacted the dog owner and asked for $1,000 in exchange for the release of the dog.
According to the dog owner, the incident took place over the weekend. The dog owner parked his car for a bit to run an errand. The three-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was left inside the vehicle and when the dog owner came back outside, one window was already smashed and the dog was gone. The dog owner then printed many “stolen dog” flyers all over town and the culprit eventually got in touch with them.
On Saturday afternoon, the thief called the owner and they agreed to meet up. The dog owner did not have second thoughts when the thief asked $1,000 as ransom money for the doggo.
