The dog was reportedly killed in a home invasion. Since the incident took place, there have been no information on those who invaded the home and killed the doggo. The dog owner said that he really wants justice for his doggo because the animal “was basically my best friend.” The dog was always with the dog owner and they were also together when the home invasion took place. The dog owner shared, “He got up first, and I got up and followed him, and then I’d seen guns go off. I ran out to the door, didn’t see nobody, and I went back to Deuce and they shot him right in the middle of the head.”
Because of the incident, the dog owner now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. He also hasn’t stayed in the house where the dog was shot because he got very scared.
Police offered a reward for anyone who can give information that would lead to an arrest. Now, the reward remains available. Police are asking people to call them at 1-888-562-5887 if they know anything about that night.
