The Nova Scotia Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) received a call about the condition of the doggo back in October 2019. Accordingly, the dog was in very poor condition. When SPCA officials went to check on the doggo, they found that it could not even walk and was emaciated. They took the dog away from the home. Unfortunately, because of the condition of the doggo, it had to be euthanized.
The dog owner, Reginald Evans, 63, was sentenced just this September. He was charged because he failed to provide the necessary medical attention for the doggo. He now has to pay a $150 fine and could not own any dog or animal for the next five years.
