The dog, a Golden Labrador, fell into the water during the vacation of the family in Scotland. The dog was not able to be rescued immediately because of the fast flow of the stream. The dog owner then wrapped the doggo in towels to warm it before noticing that the dog was no longer breathing. The dog owner remembered his first aid training and adapted the skills he knew to save the doggo.
The dog owner had to repeat the procedure five times before the dog responded. The dog became fully responsive after repeating the procedure three more times. The dog owner then said that knowing first aid could really save not only the lives of humans but also animals.
