Can you imagine how sad it is to give up your dog because you had dementia? That’s exactly what happened to a dog named Norm, who also almost lost his vision after he lost his owner.

The dog is now recovering after the very sad chapter of his life. He is at an animal fostering charity in Camberley.
This comes months after he was rescued by Next Chapter Animal Rescue (NCAR) and a month after he underwent surgery to save his vision.
The dog suffered from long-term diabetes thus the deterioration of his eyesight. The surgery of the dog amounted to more than £5,000.
The co-founder of NCAR, Regan Clark, said they were willing to spend so much on the dog because they believe Norm “deserves to be a happy dog.” The dog will be re-homed soon once the dog fully recovers.
